Q.5.1 petition

petition

this petition is about the regulation of  Internet which is limiting other citizens to access the Internet.
it is aimed at the following countries:North-Korea, Vietnam, China, and Cuba. the situation of strict regulation of Internet access is restricting a large number of people to not be able to have Internet access.

I suggest that Internet access be made available to all citizens and that it be not monitored unless necessary.all citizens must be given a platform to be able to be able to enjoy the use of digital Internet.

this will help grow the society in terms of digital literacy and it will thus contribute to the standards of living and it will increase participation from the society in terms of knowledge and value.

Q.4. inappropriate digital conduct and the effects on society.

  • angry, aggressive communication verbal of written
People say and do things on the internet whenever they are angry and they end up saying nasty and rude things to other people. most people like acting up and they feel good about themselves when they post what they are feeling at that time online. this is inappropriate because not everyone takes things lightly and it is ruining their reputation in the long run without them noticing it.

  • A statement about self-harm or suicide
some people like joking around of committing suicide and harming themselves. this is not appropriate because in the long run when you are looking for a job the employers will find that and think that you are mentally disturbed. it is also not fair for the people who look up to you and who care.

  • sex harassment
the digital people take this case very seriously. people tend to thing because they are online at the comfort of their homes it is OK to harass other innocent victims. This is highly inappropriate and not just because you making other people fair for their lives but also it can ruin and reputations and the person harassing might just end up in jail.

  • Bullying
this is really common with in comes to the social media. People get bullied everyday and it leads to suicide. There are people who deal with bullies everyday. calling other people names and threatening them is inappropriate and posting embarrassing pictures of them just to prove a point  https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=8644073593562574325#editor/target=post;postID=4204486572828616455

Q.3.2. ASPECTS OF INTELLIGENCE

  1. Ability to grasp information from data: Two people may receive the same information, but one of them is able to comprehend it better and derive meaning from it. This is not necessarily a function of past knowledge, but an ability to recognize patterns in the data and derive conclusions. A person with this ability is best suited to work in analytical situations, being able to process huge amounts of information and make sense from them.
  2. Ability to remember information: This is perhaps a misunderstood aspect of intelligence, and usually negatively associated with exam cramming. However, you can notice differences there too. Some people are able to cram more information than others. Some are able to remember relevant information from long ago. Memory is an essential part of the brain function. A person who is able to operate with large volumes of relevant information easily accessible while working can be highly efficient. Such a person is well suited for technical work. For example, a software developer who is very familiar with the language API’s.
  3. Ability to juggle multiple things: A good soccer player can run down the field with the ball, and also simultaneously remember exactly when and where to pass the ball, because while running, he can visualize where the other players are. Or think of how an aircraft controller works. Many people break down when confronted with multiple things at the same time. The person with the ability to multi-task revels in such situations.
  4. Ability to concentrate on one thing: This seems the opposite of the previous point. But in some cases, the ability to juggle also requires the ability to tune out certain things. The soccer player in the previous example tunes out the thousands of cheering fans, his personal life and whatever happened 5 minutes ago as he runs. The aircraft controller shuts out all the other distractions in the room. By only focusing on the essential, the entire brainpower is devoted to the main task at hand.https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=8644073593562574325#editor/target=post;postID=7039552312556864718

Q.3.1. INTERNET OF THINGS

Internet of things is a proposed development of the Internet in which everyday objects have network connectivity, allowing them to send and receive data.
The Internet of Things is a computing concept that describes a future where everyday physical objects will be connected to the Internet and be able to identify themselves to other devices.

* how will the Internet of thing of things impact businesses and the society:'

1. REAL-TIME DATA WILL REVOLUTIONIZE THE SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP.

The Internet once was the "information superhighway," capable of telling you how, what and why in a few clicks. Today, the Internet doesn't just tell you how to solve your problems – it solves them before you know there's a problem.
2. it will provide businesses with fast and quicker problem solving techniques to help them advance in the growing modern technology.
3.as the potential to revolutionize the way we work, enabling complete office automation by embracing the new technology
4. it will help advance and develop the society that we live in.

Q.2.2. Rape-The Cold Hard Facts

1. Define the problem .
the problem at hand is that South Africa is said to be a country with the highest rate of rape by interpol.
with this issue currently rising, we need to first check the causes and facts and then design strategies to solve the problem.

here are some causes of the high rate in South Africa:

  • rape victims know little or nothing about this complex system before they enter it, and they find it almost incomprehensible at times.
  • the system does little or nothing to inform survivors about the progress of their case and what is expected of them with regard to next steps.
  • there is no provision made for survivors to receive any form of psychosocial care inside the justice system.
  • Officials are often biased against survivors and treat them insensitively or inappropriately, causing secondary trauma.
  • the system is fragmented, lacking cohesive links between one service provider and another in the overall service chain – from the police services, to the forensic unit to the courtroom. Many cases fall between the cracks and are lost or weakened as a result.
  • government departments responsible for state service providers are unable to collaborate effectively to tackle the problem at higher levels of influence.
  • survivors are unaware of the fact that they can complain about the system, and don’t know how to go about doing so if their rights are not being upheld.
  • the way the system is set up gives the accused more rights and greater levels of representation in court than the victim of the crime.
* the above problems can be eliminated or reduced by strengthening the Law of the country when it  comes to rape offenders. rape has to be taken very seriously and the law has to show no mercy to rape offenders.

*there must be awareness raised to alert the nation about the seriousness of rape crisis.
